The Activity Log tool in Lender Toolkit’s ToolShed™ is designed to help administrators
track and review loan activity—specifically when loans are opened or closed. It
displays key details such as User ID, IP Address, Computer Name, and Loan
Folder. This tool is especially useful for Encompass® Administrators who need
to monitor loan access for security and compliance.

With the Activity Log, administrators gain visibility into loan access
patterns, helping to strengthen system security and ensure compliance. The tool
provides detailed tracking information that can be used for audits,
troubleshooting, and custom reporting.
Activation
To turn this tool on:
1. Log in to Encompass® as a Super Admin.
2. Open LTK PowerTools™ from the Encompass® menu. Confirm
the license includes the Expert, Optimized or Enterprise Tier.
3. Click Settings > PowerTools™ Expert tab.
4. Turn on the Activity Log by clicking On.
Important: After activation of the Tool, be sure to wait for
the prompt stating that the download is complete prior to continuing.
5. Ensure a license number populated and restart Encompass®.
How to Use
Inside Input Form Builder, administrators can download log files using
the CDO Management Tool. Logs are created quarterly and follow a consistent
naming format.
Manual log file inspection reveals the Loan GUID, which can be used for
custom tracking or SDK-based data extraction.
