Issue: When opening Encompass after upgrading to version 19.2, user sees error message that says
"Error registering EMClickLoan.dll. Contact Ellie Mae Customer Support at 800-777-1718 for assistance. Failed to connect to an IPC Port: the system cannot find the file specified."
Resolution:
- Open Task Manager
- Navigate to Services Tab
- Select “SCAppMgr”
- Right click and "Start" service
- Run RemoveUAC.exe
- Launch the SmartClient
- Let the .NET installation complete and follow next steps during installation
